Meet Michelle Puzzo

Owner of Puzzo Boys, Author

Michelle Puzzo was born in Connecticut, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with her BS in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a Physical Therapist but when her son Oliver began ski school in VT in 2016, she was motivated to write about it.  She published her first children’s book in 2017. Michelle has developed a passion to write and is inspired by her two boys, Oliver and Finnigan.

Co-Writer Dr. Lincoln Kamau



Dr. Lincoln Kamau, grew up in Kenya,  graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, University of Massachusetts, Boston and Northeastern University. He also studied at Yale in New Haven Connecticut.

In 2000, he started working with children with autism at the Melmark school in Pennsylvania and he caught the bug! He has continued to work with children, adults and families of children with autism since then, in the US and abroad.

In his work with autism, he has realized how little awareness there is about special needs in early education. Yet children with autism and other special needs begin their education and community integration here. This book is a first attempt at that.

Illustrator Alex Miller


Alex is a Baltimore based artist with a passion for children's book illustration and comics. He received his BFA in traditional animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2011. Influenced by classical and modern artists, Alex enjoys working in watercolors, oils, and of course digital. Illustration is his passion and he is always looking for an opportunity to work on new projects. You can see more of his work on his website: 

Nora is our Main Character


  Nora is a special reindeer, she likes to play alone with her toys, she does not like to talk or play very much to the other reindeer. She also does not like loud noises and lights. Santa and the Elves are patient in understanding Nora. She has autism.    

Portion of the proceeds will go to Autism Awareness in Africa!
